Description: Prov. G. Steward 1981, Prov S.G. Deacon 1982, Secretary of the Lodge from July 3rd 1877 to July 1st 1879, Lodge Treasurer 1883 and 1887—1912, Life Governor of the Boys' Institution. He served as Worshipful Master of Sackville Lodge in 1881 and again during the First World War in 1915. He also served as Chairman of the Building Committee for the construction of the Masonic Temple in St. James Road. The jewels displayed are his RMIG 1888 Festival Jewel, RMIB 1898 Festival Jewel, Royal Arch Chapter 1899, bar of miniatures of these 3 plus miniature Past Master Jewel for 1881, and a jewel commemorating his 24 years as Lodge Treasurer 1887—1912. |
